When I found Clipmarks, I was looking for a way (besides bookmarking) to document and share some of the amazing and diverse information I was coming across while searching the Internet.

Clipmarks has far exceeded my expectations in this respect, providing me with additional services and resources I didn't even know I'd appreciate, let alone need.

Not only am I able to save information from various web pages, the Clipmarks extension actually lets me "clip" individual cells, paragraphs, photos... essentially letting me customize, summarize and distill bits and pieces into a power-packed nugget of EXACTLY what I want. I'm able to decide what I "save" with surgical precision.

Once I have this information, I can not only categorize the "clip", but can also apply any identifying tags I wish, providing me with a powerful way to search and browse my saved clippings in the future.

This alone would have put Clipmarks at the top of my extension pyramid, but add in the social aspect and suddenly my two dimensional world just exploded into three.... a mind numbing expanse as vast as the universe (http://www.clipmarks.com/clipmark/3DB11D05-CD45-4BC1-A530-B23AD18BB657/)

Clipmarks allows you to see a constantly changing flow of information, brought to you from clippers all over the world. You can read their comments, leave your own thoughts, mark them as favorite clippers, even tag the clips for your own collection.

Hands down, Clipmarks and the Clipmarks extension is one of the finest pieces of software (with the development team to back it up) that I've come across in years.

I just wish I could rate it higher than 5 stars.
