Atlanta-based Delta said that effective immediately, international passengers set to fly July 1 and beyond will be charged a $50 fee to check a second bag, which is expected to generate more than $100 million annually. It will also ground its fleet of 14 B747-200 freighter aircraft effective Dec. 31, citing its age and inefficiency.
