Thanks to everyone for a lively discussion on the blog in the past week or so—Brooksie, Triple X, A.L. Rucci, A. Neto (especially on the subject of blogging), Fashion Rollcall (yes, the problem is an over-capacity of designers and fashion companies), and many more individuals for their thoughts about Mrs. Obama’s clothes. I would just add that while the First Lady looks great and has helped the businesses of a number of young and independent designers, she probably doesn’t want to be known as the world’s top fashion plate. As The Economist said recently, let’s hear more about what she thinks.
