The National Organization Against Men

In what might be a backhanded tribute to the organization's success, the National Organization for Women has come out swinging against something our neighborhoods desperately need. The National Fatherhood Initiative, a modest federally funded effort to reach delinquent dads and help them learn to be good fathers, has drawn a formal complaint from the scolds at NOW. They want the Administration for Children, Youth and Families, which runs the grant program at the Department of Health and Human Services, or HHS, to open the initiative to women, too.

In other words, NOW wants to cut in half this fledgling effort to reach fathers.

Odd, this is just the kind of liberal group that likes to label others mean-spirited. Where is the good spirit in this raw exercise in feminist ideology that fails to see the important complementary distinctions between mothers and fathers?
