A CAMPAIGN to rename fish as “sea kittens” in order to improve their image has been ridiculed by the Federal Opposition.

Fish: The Kittens of the Sea
“Nobody would hurt a sea kitten!” the group says on its website.
“People don’t seem to like fish.
“We’re going to start by retiring the old name for good.
Please Don't Eat the Sea Kittens!

As a cat lover, allow me to protest this monumental insult to kitties. Fish are stupid, slimy, ugly, creatures who I happen to think look good only when filleted, dipped in butter sauce and sprinkled with lemon juice.  Cats on the other hand are incredibly smart, soft and cuddly, gorgeous and, I am told, don't taste very good.

The logic of these idiots eludes me.
